In 1999 (I know it still is tehnically the 90s but I don't care) Resaurus got the license to make Sonic the hedgehog action figures (for real this time!). The first series, had a Sonic action figure (with 7 points of articulation), a Knuckles action figure (with 7 points of articulation) and a Tails action figure (with 8 points of articulation). All of these came with a ring and a plate with the characters witch you could put them on if you wanted to display them. All of the action figures were 10cm tall. The design of the all the action figures were clearly based on the 2D artwork and not the models from the games.
The second series of action figures contained the following action figures: An Amy Rose action figure witch comes with her piko piko hammer, a stand and a ring (The figure has 8 points of articulation); A Big the cat action figure witch comes with a fishing rod. a stand and a ring (The figure has 9 points of articulation); A E-102 Gamma action figure witch comes with a Jet booster, a stand and a ring (The figure has 6 points of articulation); And for some fucking reason, a Sonic action figure with ski equipment, a stand and a ring (The figure has 7 points of articulation). All of these figures are 10cm tall just like the first series.
There were also canceled lines of toys like the 10th anniversary (witch would have contained a Tails, Knuckles, E-102 Alpha and Golden Sonic action figure) and a third series witch would have a Shadow action figure, a Rouge action figure, a Robotnik action figure and a Super Sonic action figure
Resaurus didn't just make 10cm action figure, they also mad 27,5cm figures! They made 2 27,5cm Sonic action figures, one could talk the other one couldn't and a special bronze one for the Dreamcast championship as a trophy.
